The Old Freemen's Association have announced that they have now submitted a planning application to Mole Valley District Council for an Old Freemen's Memorial Building within Ashtead Park (planning application MO/2022/0974).
Now the wait begins to find out whether the application has been successful and if so, there will be a considered (and considerable!) fundraising campaign to turn the vision into a reality.

Many years have been spent on the proposal and through a considered partnership with an astounding architecture practice (who have recently won awards for their Teddington Cricket pavilion building in the heart of Bushy Park) to ensure the design of the building is both of exceedingly high-quality but also incredibly respectful of the site and those that live amongst the Park we are excited to hear the next steps.
